What's in a name?

You can call me Ray or you can call me Jay.....

Marlton Johnson is a bad ass nerd

The official news release said:

"After careful consideration of various options, which included current baseball league name "The Next Generation" and the Three Dog Night and Manning QB themed "Eli's Slumming" (which I really liked but will inevitably not make sense at some point), I have decided to name my team...

 

The Marlton Johnsons 

 

Three things to explan this name:

1) I live in Marlton, NJ;

2) Johnsons are always funny; and
